Give your team the chance to step outside, get their hands dirty, and make a tangible difference for an older adult in need. Many older adults struggle with outdoor maintenance due to physical limitations, and keeping up with their yard can feel overwhelming. That’s where your team comes in!
What to Expect
Hands-on work – Raking leaves, pulling weeds, prepping garden beds, sweeping patios, and trimming bushes.
Light home upkeep – Washing windows, removing cobwebs, or other minor outdoor cleaning tasks.
Small Team Impact – Groups of 5–8 volunteers per home ensure meaningful, manageable projects. Larger groups can be split to assist multiple homes.
3-hour commitment – A short but impactful way to give back.
What You’ll Need
We encourage teams to bring their own tools (rakes, shovels, gardening gloves, trimmers, etc.), but we can help provide supplies if needed. Dress appropriately for the weather, and don’t forget sunscreen and water bottles!
