Our mission: Connecting neighbors to help older adults thrive.
Since 2005, A Little Help has grown into a statewide network of neighbors helping neighbors—thanks to the generosity, time, and talents of people like you. With your support, we can ensure that older Coloradans can age well in their homes, stay connected to their communities, and know they are valued.
There are many ways to be part of this work—below are some of the key ways you can support our mission.
Volunteer
Our volunteers—of all ages—are the heart of A Little Help. From giving rides to medical appointments, to helping with yard work, home projects, and friendly visits, volunteers provide both practical support and meaningful connection. Whether you can help once a month or once a week, your time makes a real difference in combating isolation and showing older neighbors how much their community cares.
Volunteering is always flexible—you decide which requests to take on and how often you participate, so it fits seamlessly into your life.
Interns support our programs, events, and day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience in community building and service delivery. Internships can be completed in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid format, making it easy to fit your schedule.
We happily partner with local businesses, community groups, and organizations to strengthen neighborhoods and create lasting impact. Whether through sponsoring programs and events, organizing employee volunteer days, or offering in-kind support, our partners help us reach more older adults across Metro Denver and Northern Colorado.
Partnership with A Little Help means building stronger, more connected communities—while also growing your visibility and demonstrating your commitment to social impact right here in Colorado. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of older neighbors.
Fundraisers are a fun and meaningful way to support A Little Help while connecting with your community. Each year, we host events like The Big Bash and our Annual Northern Colorado Fundraiser—bringing neighbors together to raise vital support for older adults across Colorado.
This year, our Northern Colorado Fundraiser is the Fort Collins Rotary Club Duck Race, a playful and engaging event where participants cheer on thousands of bright yellow racers down the Poudre River while supporting older adults in Northern Colorado.
Statewide, we also participate in Colorado Gives Day, the largest annual fundraising event in the state, helping us amplify support for older adults across all of our communities.
Partnering with A Little Help is a meaningful way to support older adults across Colorado while engaging with your community. Sponsors can choose to support signature events like The Big Bash in Metro Denver, participate in our Annual Northern Colorado Fundraiser, or back programs such as Ditch the Desk.
Sponsorship provides visibility for your organization, connects you with neighbors of all ages, and demonstrates your commitment to making a positive community impact. Every partnership helps strengthen neighborhoods, foster connections, and create lasting change for older adults in our communities.
Your generosity can make a lasting difference for older adults across Colorado. Every gift—big or small—helps connect them with the support and companionship they need to thrive. You can give in the way that's most meaningful to you: make a one-time or recurring online donation, contribute through your workplace, or explore planned giving options to create a lasting legacy. However you choose to give, you'll be fueling connections that help older neighbors feel valued, supported, and part of their community.
