Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do here at A Little Help and we hope your heart discovers the joy of giving to our older adult neighbors. Ditch the Desk is a great opportunity to gather together in volunteer groups from companies, faith groups, organizations, and families to give back to the community and their older adult neighbors.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY In consideration of the opportunity afforded me to assist on a voluntary basis as a volunteer on a Service Day with A Little Help, which may include going to an elderly members home, and in light of the aims and purposes of the community service provided by A Little Help in organizing this project. To the extent permitted by Colorado Law, I (we) waive any right or cause of action arising as a result of participation in A Little Help from which any liability may or could accrue against A Little Help or its officers, staff, and directors collectively or individually. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I agree that this waiver shall include any rights or causes of action resulting from personal injury to me or damage to my property sustained in connection with my activities for A Little Help, including the travel to, from, or during this Service Day.

The only way A Little Help can operate is if there is mutual respect among our members, volunteers, and staff. I understand that A Little Help is not solely a service provider but is also, and more importantly, a community. To that end, I will treat all members of A Little Help and their property with respect and can expect such in return. If accepted, A Little Help reserves the right to bar me from volunteering with the organization if I violate this community agreement.
