Psychological First Aid: Supporting Recovery After Trauma

 Monday, November 16  |   3:00–4:00 p.m.  |   Virtual
When someone has experienced trauma, knowing how to respond with care and confidence can make a meaningful difference. Join us for this important virtual training designed to support YOU — our dedicated volunteers.
Led by our partners at AllHealth Network, this session will introduce Psychological First Aid as a practical tool for helping reduce stress and support healthy recovery after a traumatic event. You’ll learn thoughtful, approachable strategies that can help you show up with calm, compassion, and confidence when someone may be going through a difficult time.
 What You’ll Walk Away With:
  • A better understanding of Psychological First Aid and why it matters
  • Tools to help reduce stress after a traumatic event
  • Ways to offer calm, supportive assistance during difficult moments
  • Practical strategies you can use in your volunteer role and beyond
This training is a valuable opportunity to build skills that support both the people you serve and your own confidence as a volunteer. We highly encourage all volunteers to join us.
Can’t stay the whole time? That’s okay — join when you can!
