De-Escalation: Building Confidence in Challenging Moments

THIS EVENT IS BEING POSTPONED TO A LATER DATE.
Want to feel more confident navigating difficult or high-stress situations? Join us for this impactful virtual training designed to support YOU — our dedicated volunteers.
Led by our trusted partners at AllHealth Network, this session will introduce practical, easy-to-use strategies to help you stay calm, build rapport, and respond effectively when emotions run high. These are real-world skills you can carry into every interaction — whether you’re assisting a member over the phone or in person.
 What You’ll Walk Away With:
  • Techniques to stay grounded and calm in stressful situations
  • Tools to build trust and strengthen communication
  • Strategies for responding thoughtfully when emotions escalate
  • Confidence to handle challenging interactions with care
These skills not only support the people you serve — they support you, too. We highly encourage all volunteers to take advantage of this opportunity to grow, learn, and feel more prepared in every interaction.
Can’t stay the whole time? That’s okay — join when you can!
