Richard T. Houston, Ed.D. graduated from Brown University. He earned advanced degrees including a Doctorate in Education from Clark University. After extensive post-doctoral work, he was licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Psychology in 1981.
He earned tenure in the Department of Education in the Massachusetts State University system. He managed a successful clinical psychology practice for 15 years and then went on to start an organizational psychology practice in which he directed proprietary leadership development projects for corporations in 30 countries.
For two decades, he has focused his attention on the psychological dimensions of healthy aging. He conducted original research with 1600 adult residents of Silicon Valley on the psychological factors impacting healthy lifestyle behaviors.
He constructs and deploys rule-based, artificial intelligence applications that deliver personalized support and guidance to users based on individual inputs. His ‘Healthy Aging Profile Report’ is available to visitors to his web site https://www.senior-psych.com/
