Join Us for Service Saturday! – Saturday, November 15, 2025

One Big Day. One Big Impact.

This fall, we’re bringing the whole Metro Denver area together for one Service Saturday! Volunteers from all over will team up to help older adult households with seasonal yard and home chores—everything from raking leaves and pulling weeds to washing windows, moving patio furniture, and more. While you’re at it, you’ll enjoy meaningful connections with an older neighbor.

How It Works

• Morning Gathering – 9:00 AM
  Check in at Denver South High School for the official kickoff, project updates, tool check-out, coffee, and treats. Live in Jefferson County and need tools but don't want to head to South High Saturday morning, not to worry, Jeffco volunteers will have special tool pick-up dates/times in advance, location TBD and will be announced.

• Choose Your Project Home
  This year, all Metro Denver and Jeffco requests will be on one map (sent by email before the event). Pick the home(s) you’d like to help, or schedule directly with the homeowner if 11/15 doesn’t work for you.

• Volunteer Your Way
  Can’t make the morning gathering? That’s OK—you can still join in by arranging a time with the homeowner.

• Work & Connect – 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  Spend 2–3 hours at your assigned home, tackling tasks and visiting with the homeowner.

• Lunch Celebrations – 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM
  Wrap up at either Junction Food & Drink (Denver) or Edgewater Market (Jeffco) for food, drinks (first drink on us!), and tool return.
