Join Our Volunteer Meetups: Connect, Share, and Learn

We are excited to invite you to our monthly Volunteer Meetups, designed to foster connections, share experiences, and provide valuable insights.

• Discussion Topic: Lunch with Staff and Other Volunteers

Whether you're a long-time volunteer or new to our community, these meetups are an excellent opportunity to engage, learn, and grow together. We look forward to seeing you there!

What to Expect:

• Casual Conversations: Meet fellow volunteers, local staff, and our volunteer coordinator over a cup of coffee or a refreshing beverage. Share your stories, discuss experiences, and build meaningful relationships within our community.

• Educational Insights (Optional): Each meetup features a focused topic with guest speakers offering guidance on subjects like:

  • Best practices for assisting members with transportation.
  • Recognizing and managing volunteer burnout.
  • Effective communication strategies with older adults, including those with dementia.

While these sessions are available, your participation in them is entirely optional. Feel free to join us solely for the camaraderie and informal discussions if you prefer.
