This Month We Are Talking About  The Great Outdoors

The great outdoors is known to positively impact your physical and mental health in a variety of ways.  Getting some fresh air can reduce stress and depression while also benefiting your immune system.  Taking care of your outdoor space through gardening and landscaping in a safe and sustainable way will benefit yourself, as well as the environment.

6 Benefits Of The Great Outdoors (US Forest Service, n.d.)

  1. Reduces Stress
  2. Reduces Cortisol Levels
  3. Reduces Muscle Tension
  4. Reduces Heart Rate
  5. Lower Risk of Depression
  6. Faster Psychological Stress Recovery

Our speakers will touch on many of these benefits, and how you can start small and still feel the benefits.
