Every other month we provide our members and volunteers with the opportunity to be enlightened on numerous different subjects by an informative panel of experts in their profession.  Topics are chosen with feedback from members and volunteers as well as from the many relevant topics occurring in the world around us.

This month we are talking about Improving and Maintaining Brain Health

As we age, a healthy brain is very important and can help mitigate some of the negative effects of aging.  There are so many ways to improve your brain health, whether its through reading, brain activities, or exercise.  We will discuss these topics during this month's Little Talk. 

Prevention and that exercise (specifically a combination of aerobic and strength training) is the most powerful tool in preventing dementia.  I can also talk about dual tasked exercises and the cognitive benefit that is derived.
